Craig Peek (Guitar and Bass)

Craig has been playing guitar for 15 years, but music has been in his blood for much longer. He also plays bass and drums. Craig’s philosophy is simple- “Music can take you wherever you want it to in life”. He’s recorded many albums, including two of his own. Trey has been lucky enough to travel across the country touring and playing with many successful artists, and having many unforgettable experiences all due to the love of music. Craig has been teaching guitar and bass for seven years. His students range from the age of 5 to 55. “Nothing is more satisfying than seeing the glow in people’s smiles for every “I’m proud to say I’ve been breakthrough that they achieve” said Craig. “I’m proud to say I’ve been teaching at Music and More since the opening of the store in ‘07 and couldn’t ask for a better family-oriented environment. Music is the ultimate universal language that everyone can enjoy in their own way, and I’m happy to pass the gift along to others who will one day do the same”.

Sean Blythe (Guitar and Bass)

Starting in grade school on trumpet, Sean has been fully involved in performing and studying music for over a decade.

During his senior year of high school, Sean was the winner of the Louis Armstrong Jazz award for   outstanding jazz performance on the bass guitar and trumpet. Sean has also had extensive experience on guitar playing in rock ‘n’ roll bands. With plenty of experience in teaching, Sean has taken college music courses and studies theory independently. Currently composing and playing gigs nearly every week, Sean also has experience in the studio.  Check out his current band WorldWideRiot at www.myspace.com/riotsaroundtheworld

Melissa Rowe (Voice and Keyboard)

Melissa has been into music for as long as she can remember.  Her mother was in choir and her father was in a band. She started taking piano lessons when she was nine years old.  Her first teacher was her aunt.  Later she studied with Cindy Macchieto for seven years.  During that time Melissa also played at church. After graduating she studied further at IVCC.
She has worked with the Choir at Grand Ridge and the OHS Choirs, where she won four state championships!
Melissa graduated from IVCC with her Associate of Arts in 2008, and is planning on getting her bachelors and masters in the future.

Greg Cox (Drums)

Greg has always had an interest in music. At age 9 he started taking guitar lessons but that only lasted for a short time. He discovered his passion was the drums a few years later and started taking drum lessons at age 11.

By the time he was a sophomore in high school, Greg had started his first band.  Through the rest of his school years he was in a working band. He learned a lot in the 3 years he was with that band.
Greg is happy to be playing again, after taking some time off, and is now giving lessons at Music and More.
Additionally Greg is currently hosting a monthly jam session at a local club, starting a new band, and running a D.J./karaoke business. Future plans include students to teach and is devoted more than ever to his musical career.

Brian Moritz (Guitar, Bass and Keyboards)

Brian came from a musical family; he started playing the piano when he was about six, and self-taught until college.
After graduating high school, he completed two years of music curriculum at Harper College, transferring to Elmhurst College briefly before starting a family, along with playing and teaching professionally.
Brian has taught at five fine suburban music stores over a period of 25 years.
Brian’s music career has been very exciting in recent years.  In 2003 he engineered Steve Morse’s Split Decision CD, and in 2006 his band Balance II had a world-wide distributed disk on OIE Records and received amazing press reviews.  Lately he’s been  working on his third CD, which, like Balance II, features Dave LaRue on Bass (Dixie Dregs, Satriani, Petrucci) and Rod Morgenstein on drums (Winger, Jazz is Dead, Dregs). Brian has played bass, guitar and keyboards in working bands, and as a professional studio musician.
